Day 2: Practice Session and Opening Ceremony
The competition is now officially open. This morning, all contestants gathered at KTU for a practice session, a chance to get comfortable with the contest environment before the real competition begins tomorrow.
In the afternoon, participants, leaders, and guests gathered at KTU Santaka Valley for the Opening Ceremony, marking the official start of EJOI 2026. Team photos were taken after the ceremony.
In the evening, contestants headed to RamybΔs Park for the “Meet Kaunas” orienteering activity, a fun way to explore the city before the contest days begin.
Contest Day 1 starts tomorrow, Sunday July 26. Fingers crossed for all 25 teams!
